Fire door compliance in student living, around the clock.
7:30am: morning rush
Students flood out for 9am lectures. Bags on backs, coffee in hand, and fire doors swinging constantly. In the space of 30 minutes, your building’s busiest access points are tested hundreds of times.
1:00pm: afternoon activity
Between lectures, the building comes alive. Students head to the gym, couriers arrive with parcels, and doors swing open and shut in a steady rhythm. Every entry point is in use, and every fire door is being tested.
6:30pm: evening return
The return wave begins. Students pour back through the front doors, bags dropped, kitchens filling with the smell of cooking, corridors alive with conversation. The building shifts from quiet to buzzing in minutes.
11:30pm: nightlife, the chaos begins
Students spill out into the night, taxis line the street, takeaway bags swing from every hand, and the front door barely stops moving. For every group heading out, another is arriving back. Your fire doors are working overtime.
2:45am: late night, still moving
The building never truly sleeps. Late-night returners, night-shift staff, and restless residents mean fire doors are still swinging well into the early hours. Every opening is a compliance moment.
7:00am: it starts all over again
The alarm goes off and the cycle begins once more. Students heading to early lectures, doors swinging open, the building buzzing back to life. Every single day, without fail, the traffic never truly stops.
